Capture with /docpipe
Send a useful decision or explanation into the documentation workflow.
Capture documentation, ask questions with citations, and route review workflows without asking the team to abandon Slack.
Why it matters
Docpipe connects the conversation to the source of truth. The integration is intentionally bidirectional: knowledge moves from Slack into documentation, and trusted answers move from documentation back into Slack.
Each capability is useful on its own. Together, they make documentation easier to create, trust, and reuse.
Send a useful decision or explanation into the documentation workflow.
Receive a grounded answer and open the source behind it.
Choose channels that should participate in documentation review workflows.
Route proposed changes to designated reviewers and link back to the web app when needed.
How it works
No content graveyard. No magic black box. Each step has an understandable output and owner.
An administrator connects the Slack workspace to a Docpipe organization.
Use the command directly or configure selected watched channels and approvers.
Docpipe detects whether the input should become documentation or a cited answer.
Approve proposed updates before they become shared knowledge.
Common questions
The exact OAuth scopes and behavior are described on the privacy page. Message history is intended for channels an administrator explicitly selects for watched-channel workflows.
The current integration prevents a Slack workspace from being attached to multiple Docpipe organizations at the same time.
The current disconnect flow clears the stored bot token and Slack user links for the organization. See the privacy page for the latest retention details.
Connect your workspace and turn everyday conversations into reusable knowledge.
